Your face can change in your 40s.

You have more influence over how it changes than you think.

If your face suddenly feels puffier, heavier or less defined, there are things you can start doing with your own hands.

Facial massage, lymphatic techniques, targeted facial exercises and the way you hold your neck and posture can all become part of how you care for your face as you age.

I'll show you where to start.

Maybe your face just doesn't look like you anymore.

You notice it in photos first.

More puffiness around your eyes and cheeks.

Less definition through your jawline.

A heaviness that wasn't there a few years ago.

Maybe your face looks tired even when you aren't.

So you change your skincare. Buy another tool. Book another facial.

But skincare only works at the surface.

Your face is also influenced by the muscles underneath it, the tension you hold, fluid movement, your neck and posture, and the way you use your face every single day.

That's the part I teach you to work with.

AGE 40

AGE 45

This is me at 40.

And this is me now at 45.

At 40, I wasn't new to looking after faces.

I'd already spent more than 20 years working as a skin therapist.

I knew skincare.
I knew treatments.
I knew skin.

But when I looked at my own face, I could see more puffiness and less definition than I wanted, particularly through my cheeks, eyes and jawline.

And I became fascinated by something I'd spent far less time thinking about:

Everything happening underneath the skin.

The tension I was holding.

Fluid movement.

My facial muscles.

My jaw.

My neck and posture.

The way I was unconsciously holding and using my face every single day.

That curiosity led me deeper into facial massage, lymphatic techniques, facial exercises and the relationship between the face, neck and body.

And over the next five years, those practices became part of the way I consistently cared for my own face.

Five years later, I prefer what I see.

My face feels less puffy. I see more definition.

I'm far more aware of where I hold tension and most importantly, I know what to do when my face starts feeling heavy or congested.

I'm not trying to look 25.

I don't even want my 40-year-old face back.

I want to look like myself as I get older and feel good about the face looking back at me.

That's what eventually became The Face Coach.

These photographs show my personal experience over five years and were taken in different lighting and conditions.

Individual experiences vary, and appearance can be influenced by lighting, expression, lifestyle and natural ageing.

I don't believe ageing well means trying to freeze your face in time.

I want women to understand their faces.

To know how to release the jaw they've been clenching all day.

How to work with facial tension instead of ignoring it.

How to use massage and gentle lymphatic techniques when their face feels puffy.

How to activate and exercise facial muscles with intention.

And how their neck and posture connect to what they see above it.

Because once you understand your own face, looking after it stops being another beauty trend.

It becomes a practice you can come back to.

DRAIN → RELEASE → LIFT → RESET

Your face needs more than one technique.

That's why The Face Coach Method brings together four different elements of facial care.

DRAIN

Gentle lymphatic techniques designed to support fluid movement and help with the appearance of temporary puffiness.

RELEASE

Facial massage and targeted techniques for the areas where we commonly hold tension including the jaw, face and neck.

LIFT

Targeted facial exercises and muscle activation to bring more intention and awareness to the way you use your facial muscles.

RESET

Neck, posture and body awareness because I don't believe the face should ever be treated as though it exists separately from the rest of you.

DRAIN. RELEASE. LIFT. RESET.

This is The Face Coach Method.

You don't need to learn everything.

Start with 10 minutes.

You don't need to understand every muscle in your face or memorise a complicated routine before you can start caring for it differently.

That's why I created The Quick Lift.

Ten minutes.

Your own hands.

A guided sequence you can follow at home.

So instead of saving facial massage for the occasional facial, or randomly copying techniques you see online, you have a simple routine you can actually repeat.

Meet The Quick Lift.

Your 10-minute guided facial routine.

The Quick Lift brings the four parts of The Face Coach Method together into one simple at-home practice.

DRAIN

Gentle lymphatic techniques.

RELEASE

LIFT

Targeted facial exercises and muscle activation.

RESET

The Quick Lift was made for the woman who...

Has started noticing more puffiness or heaviness in her face.

Feels like her jawline and features aren't as defined as they once were.

Carries tension through her jaw, brow, neck or shoulders.

Already invests in skincare and treatments but wants to understand what she can do herself.

Wants a natural, hands-on ritual she can realistically maintain.

Doesn't want another 45-minute beauty routine added to her day.

And wants to feel proactive about ageing without becoming obsessed with looking younger.

If you're reading this thinking, “That's me”...

Start here.

Hi, I'm Sarah.

Skin therapist of 26 years. Facial treatment specialist. And the woman behind The Face Coach.

I've spent more than two decades working hands-on with women's skin and faces.

And something started fascinating me.

Why can two faces of the same age look and feel completely different?

The longer I worked with faces, the more I noticed the things skincare alone couldn't explain.

The jaw that never seemed to relax.

The face that felt puffy despite beautiful skin.

The shoulders sitting up around the ears.

The neck tension.

The client looking in the mirror and saying:

“I just don't look like myself anymore.”

That curiosity took me deeper into facial massage, lymphatic techniques, facial muscles, tension, neck and posture and how they can all influence the way our face looks and feels.

The Face Coach grew from everything I've learned professionally, what I've observed in the treatment room, and what I've experienced with my own changing face.

I'm not here to promise you a completely different face.

I want to teach you how to work with the one you already have.

What women notice when they start working with their face.

Danielle, 37

“I didn’t realise how much tension I was holding in my jaw until I started. After just one treatment I could feel the release and see the difference. My face looked more lifted, less puffy and I felt lighter overall.”

Sarah, 41

“After years of clenching and tightness, I finally feel like my jaw is free. My face looks more lifted, my cheekbones are back and I feel so much more confident. This is my new non-negotiable.”

What can happen when you release the face.
These are real clients from my Brisbane salon, photographed before and immediately after one facial treatment incorporating lymphatic drainage, facial sculpting, jaw release and buccal massage.

Different treatment, same philosophy: Drain. Release. Lift. Reset.

The Quick Lift takes the techniques I’ve developed through years of hands-on facial work and turns them into a simple at-home practice you can do yourself.

A few things you might be wondering.

Do I need any special tools?

No. Your hands are the main tool. I recommend using a small amount of facial oil or a product with enough slip for comfortable massage.

How long does it take?

The complete Quick Lift takes around 10 minutes.

How often should I do it?

The routine is designed to be simple enough to use regularly. Consistency matters more than doing a huge routine occasionally, and I'll guide you through how to use it inside the program.

I'm in my 40s or 50s. Is it too late to start?

No. I started exploring this work much more deeply in my 40s.

The aim isn't to turn back the clock.

It's to understand your face and develop practices that support the way you want to care for it now.

Is this face yoga?

Not exactly.

The Face Coach Method combines lymphatic techniques, facial massage, muscle activation and facial exercises with neck and posture work rather than relying on facial exercises alone.

Will this permanently lift my face?

Faces change for many reasons and individual experiences vary.

The Quick Lift teaches facial massage, lymphatic techniques, facial exercises and neck/posture practices as ongoing self-care rather than promising a permanent cosmetic result.

What if I have Botox or filler?

Always follow the aftercare advice and timing given by your treating medical professional before returning to facial massage or exercise after an injectable treatment.

Do I keep access?

Yes. You receive lifetime access, so you can return to the routine whenever you want.

Five years from now, you'll still have a face to care for.

You may as well understand how.

Start with ten minutes.

Learn how to drain, release, lift and reset — and have a routine you can keep coming back to.
